Did anyone else get hiccups?

Am I eating or drinking wrong when I get the hiccups?   They have just started since last night, after dinner, I got the hiccups and I thought I had eaten wrong.  This morning, I was drinking water and got them.

Just want to see if I'm doing something wrong?

I get hiccups when I am full.  Some say you get them if you drink or eat too fast...  I always ate very slowly and still got hiccups... still do today...  so you could try slowing it way down and see if that helps....  if not, then I would say its a good indicator to stop because your tummy says "I'm full"

I agree I get hiccups randomly too.  Sometimes after eating sometimes after drinking.  But not usually for long.  Just a few at a time but still hiccups.  I agree sometimes I think it is because I am full other times I think maybe I drink too fast.  I used to be a MAJOR consumer of water prior to surgery.   The "sipping" concept has been one of my biggest challenges I must confess.

I also like you kep****ching everything...I think those of us that do all our research want to make sure are doing everything right.  And think for me what made it worse was that nothing seem to go wrong at all.  LOL.  I kept waiting for the "other shoe to drop." I am sure you are doing great.  Keep up the good work and never stop asking questions.
Come join us on the loser's bench...there is always room for more!!!!!!!!

Hi Amy,

I may be a little late on this, but as a fellow bandster, I too get the hiccups when I drink a little too fast.  Other than that it seems like I am burping and tooting all the time  LOL   Just ask Trina    Good luck on your journey.

Take Care
Bobbie
